Our journey began in 2018 when Donal discovered the magic of 3D printing, and Melissa, a lifelong lover of books and fantasy realms, saw the potential to bring stories and dreams to life. Together in 2025, we combined our passions to create a business that celebrates craftsmanship, storytelling, and a little bit of whimsy — the inspiration behind our company name.

We’re proud to be a true family team! Our daughter, affectionately known as the "Dice Goblin," enthusiastically helps us make, package, and ship each product with care. You might even find a stray cat hair or two in your box, lovingly donated by our curious feline supervisors, Grace and Gary, who share our love of boxes!

3D printing is an additive manufacturing process that creates objects layer by layer using a thermoplastic filament. The filament is melted and extruded through a heated nozzle, precisely depositing material onto a build plate.

This method is ideal for producing durable prototypes, functional parts, and custom designs due to its cost-effectiveness and ability to work with a variety of materials like PLA. On the subject of PLA, All of our 3D printed products are made from a unique plastic known as Polylactic Acid, or PLA. PLA is a remarkable bioplastic that is both biosourced and biodegradable, making it an eco-friendly choice. It is derived from renewable resources like corn and sugarcane.

What many 3D printers won’t tell you is how wasteful the process can be — from failed prints and leftover filament to purge material from color changes. At Printed Fantasy, we’re passionate about reducing waste and giving new life to what might otherwise be discarded.

That’s why we save all of our 3D printing waste and upcycle it into our unique range of "Leftovers" Products. These creations are one-of-a-kind, sustainable, and a testament to our commitment to eco-friendly practices.
